Regional Debris Specialist
Brandy Cossey has more than 10 years of professional experience, including over seven years in debris monitoring, project data management, and data administration.
Ms. Cossey began her career as a field monitor during the recovery efforts of Hurricane Matthew in 2016, and now serves as a Regional Debris Specialist, overseeing project management, data processes and procedures for reimbursement for all debris monitoring projects from start-up through reconciliation and close-out. She is thoroughly trained as a debris specialist as well as being knowledgeable in data reconciliation purposes, having reconciled data for nearly 7 million cubic yards (CY) of debris across multiple large-scale debris monitoring projects.
As Regional Debris Specialist, she manages the electronic ticketing process from its inception, which involves determining cubic yard estimations, managing upwards of 5,000 tickets, and 30,000 CY daily. Following Hurricane Irma, Ms. Cossey managed a Data Processing Center in South Florida, overseeing the work of 12 to 36 data entry clerks. She is also experienced in providing statistical data and operational coordination and preparation, geographical information (GIS), and organization of disaster recovery data.
Ms. Cossey manages debris monitoring contracts in Florida and Texas, providing ongoing client relationship management and pre-event planning.
Prior to joining Tidal Basin Group, Ms. Cossey worked in financial advisement and management, which provided her with the necessary skills in ensuring robust and accurate data management. She is accustomed to working closely with clients to analyze financial data and objectives, including account management, advisement strategies, risk tolerance, and updating client portfolios.
