Heather Stickler is the Chief Marketing Officer for Tidal Basin Group. She has over 28 years of experience in marketing, communications, proposal management, business development, capture, program and project management. She also formerly served in civil engineering and sustainable design technical roles for 15 years of her career. She brings a wealth of experience in the disaster recovery, emergency management, and A/E/C industries – serving clients worldwide in all sectors with a focus on government, commercial, healthcare, education, retail, and transportation.
She previously served as Vice President of Marketing and Proposal organizations for well-known global emergency management and engineering firms. She builds and leads marketing and proposal organizations to support and execute growth strategies that build brand awareness and generate leads for increased market share and revenue. She develops integrated marketing and business development strategies with key stakeholders that reinforce value proposition, market positioning, core and targeted messaging, innovative thought leadership, and lead generation campaigns.
Heather has a B.S. in Business Management and holds certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP). She serves as a Forbes Communications Council member, contributing to expert panels and sharing marketing and communications insights and knowledge with Forbes magazine’s audience. She is also a member of the CMO Council, C-Sweet, American Marketing Association (AMA), Digital Marketing Institute (DMI), Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP), Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), and numerous other industry associations. She has earned numerous honors and awards throughout her career, including the Built x Women (BxW) D.C. Award for her work as the lead civil engineer for an affordable housing community built in Washington, D.C.
