Tamara began her emergency management career in 2014, building on ten years of experience in the banking sector, where she developed her skills in management and operations. She has held roles such as Senior Audit Lead, Disaster Liaison, Project Specialist, and Financial program lead. Her work includes disaster recovery efforts on over twenty major Federal declarations following the Wildfires in Alaska (2015), including Hurricane Sandy, Irene, and Tropical Storm Lee.
She has managed financial aspects of disasters, overseeing projects with budgets over $2 billion. Her achievements include leading major disaster declaration closeouts, financial project reconciliations, and FEMA reimbursement efforts for DR-4480 (COVID Pandemic).
