Caitlin Ringwood
State Director, New Jersey & New York
Caitlin Ringwood serves as the State Director for New Jersey and New York, working with existing clients and developing new relationships. Ringwood has worked in Recovery for the last 11 years. She supported the State of New York as the state’s Hurricane Sandy Recovery Lead for the FEMA Public Assistance (PA) Program. Through her work on Hurricane Sandy, Ringwood was able to advocate for thousands of applicants by guiding them through the PA Program.
Through her long tenure on the Sandy disaster, she gained valuable insight into all phases of the PA Recovery Program, working hand-in-hand with various stakeholders to allow applicants to build back stronger, more resilient infrastructure and communities. Her portfolio included small private nonprofits, large municipalities, hospital systems, New York City and State agencies. Ringwood also supported the State of New York and FEMA Region II in the administration of the 428 Public Assistance Alternative Procedures Pilot Program by processing hundreds of millions of dollars in reimbursement to applicants in the five boroughs of New York City and Long Island.
