Charles Young, III, is a Senior Director, Contract Management at Tidal Basin.  

Charles is a strategic management executive with experience in leading all facets of corporate, governmental, and non-profit management. Before joining Tidal Basin, he was Contracts Manager at a manufacturing, wholesale, and distribution company serving government and commercial agencies. Previously he supported a national private government consulting firm that specializes in disaster recovery, resiliency, and homeland security as the organization’s Project Manager of Subrecipient Programs and Contract Management. 

During his 17 years of professional experience, he has also held various roles at the local level, including Community and Economic Development Deputy Director for the City of Harper Woods, Michigan, and Chief of Staff for Detroit City Council.
