Deputy Director of Recovery


Joseph Villegas serves as the Deputy Director for Recovery, providing oversight and support of new opportunities for Tidal Basin and supporting the review and approval of key engagement controls and deliverables. Before joining Tidal Basin, Villegas was director of Wayne County’s Emergency Management in Ohio. In this role, Villegas performed preparedness and mitigation activities as a public information officer and emergency and resource coordinator during and after emergencies. Before that, Villegas was vice president of operations for FSI North America, where he developed marketing strategies and identified new market segments. Villegas received his bachelor’s degree in corporate communications from Walsh University.
