Melanie Rowe is the Vice President of Proposals at Tidal Basin Group. With over a decade of experience in leading proposal and sales functions within professional services firms, Melanie has demonstrated exceptional capabilities in managing capture and proposal management teams and operations. Her expertise also extends to price-to-win strategies, finalist presentation development and orals coaching, and post-submission contract negotiations.
In her previous role as Vice President of Business Development at North America’s leading travel retailer, Hudson Group, she managed the $2B sales cycle and proposal operations. While there, she engineered and launched the North American proposal response operations and established new standards for process efficiency and proposal quality.
Prior to Hudson, she served as the Business Development Manager at BDO, an industry-renowned advisory and management consulting firm, where she designed the enterprise-wide Sales Enablement & Marketing department structure. She also served as the Business Development Manager at EXOS, a professional development firm, where she led the proposal management team and built the company’s first cloud-based knowledge management site.
Her leadership in directing high-value deals, ranging from $35 million to $750 million in the government and retail sectors, provides the expertise to drive transformative opportunities for Tidal Basin. Her expertise enables our team to be effective in tracking, reporting, and pipeline management. Melanie successfully fosters cross-practice collaboration and strengthens community-building across various organizational functions to drive comprehensive growth and improvement.
Melanie’s robust academic background complements her professional accomplishments. She holds an MBA and an MPH in Health Policy & Management from Case Western Reserve University, alongside a BA in Sociology, Magna Cum Laude, from Bryn Mawr College.
