Michelle Burnett is the Vice President of Resilience, Mitigation, and Policy at Tidal Basin. Michelle has over 20 years of experience in both the public and private sectors as a planning and response professional. She is a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), and Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM).
Before joining Tidal Basin, Michelle was Senior Manager of Enterprise Response and Resiliency at a Fortune 5 healthcare company and served as their COVID-19 federal response liaison to “The Operation” and vaccine task force. She also previously served as State Floodplain Coordinator and Chief of Planning for the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency (RIEMA).
Michelle has a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology and a Master of Marine Affairs, Coastal Policy and Management from the University of Rhode Island.
