Michelle Cullerton-Conforti, MEP
Senior Director, Corporate Strategy
Michelle Cullerton-Conforti is a Senior Director of Corporate Strategy at Tidal Basin Group. In addition to her project management experience, she has ~20 years of experience developing and implementing homeland security, disaster management, and housing recovery programs. Prior to her current role, Michelle served as Assistant Commissioner, Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness for the Chicago Fire Department (CFD) where she administered a portfolio of over $100M in Department of Homeland Security (DHS) grant programs. Before her time at CFD, she served at the Chicago Office of Emergency Management and Communications (OEMC) where she focused on large-scale incident and event planning and response. Prior to her roles at the local level, Michelle was in private sector consulting where she served as a hazardous materials responder on long-term deployments to federally declared disasters throughout the nation.
Michelle holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Environmental Policy, Bachelor of Science (BS) in Environmental Science, and Certificates in Project Management and Organizational Change Management. Michelle is also a FEMA-certified Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP) with experience designing and conducting Homeland Security and Exercise Evaluation Program (HSEEP) multi-discipline trainings and exercises.
