Robert “Bob” Wright serves as Assistant Vice President/Operations Manager, Management Consulting Services. Prior to holding this position, Bob was Tidal Basin’s Assistant Vice President of Response and Recovery Operations. Bob joined Tidal Basin in 2005 after 25 years of military service.

Bob worked three federally declared disasters with Adjusters International’s administration, assisting applicants with the FEMA Public Assistance Program. Deployments include New York State, Monroe County, FL, and Mississippi and Louisiana in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

In addition, Bob worked as a consultant for the Village of Islands, Islamorada, Florida, for federally declared disasters – Hurricanes Dennis, Katrina, Wilma, and Tropical Storm Rita. Then, he worked as a consultant for Cedar Rapids Community School District in Iowa for federally declared historic flooding.

Bob was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and later served in the Air National Guard, reaching the rank of Chief Master Sergeant, where he retired in 2004.

His broad knowledge and understanding of the FEMA Public Assistance program provided the basis for his technical writing. His article, “Rebuilding Under the FEMA Public Assistance Program: Repair? Replace? Relocate?” was published in Tidal Basin’s industry publication Disaster Recovery Today.

Bob earned his BS in Business Administration from Columbia College and his AAS in Airway Sciences from Community College of the Air Force.
