About The Preparedness Summit
Hosted by the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), the 2024 Preparedness Summit in Cleveland, OH, is an opportunity to unveil new research discoveries and exchange valuable tools and resources through a diverse range of learning opportunities. Attendees will acquire the knowledge necessary to deploy best practices that bolster our nation’s ability to prepare for, manage, and recover from disasters and emergencies.
This year’s conference spotlights the vital need for unity between public health, emergency management, and healthcare. The summit’s theme, «Public Health, Healthcare, and Emergency Management: Aligning to Address Cascading Challenges,» offers a platform where different sectors can collaborate, align their goals, and find improved methods for partnership to strengthen continuous and future response and recovery efforts.
Who Should Attend
The Tidal Basin team will join state/national disaster response non-profits, government agencies, and partners from the emergency management community to learn from healthcare and emergency management experts in addition to public health preparedness professionals.
