We are thrilled to welcome Melanie “Mel” Rowe to the Tidal Basin team as our new Vice President of Proposals!  With over a decade of experience in leading proposal operations and sales pipelines, Mel has driven growth across B2B, B2B2C, B2C, and B2G business models within numerous industry-leading companies ranging from $2B to $14B in annual revenue. 

She has demonstrated exceptional capabilities in managing capture and proposal management teams and operations, with expertise extending to price-to-win strategies, finalist presentation development and orals coaching, and post-submission contract negotiations.  

While serving in her last role as Vice President of Business Development at the Hudson Group, she engineered and launched the North American proposal response team operations and established new standards for process efficiency and proposal quality. Additionally, in previous roles, Mel transformed business development functions by optimizing key areas like tracking, reporting, and pipeline management, fostering cross-practice collaboration, and strengthening community-building across various organizational functions. 

Expressing her enthusiasm for the new role, Melanie stated, «I am excited to join Tidal Basin and look forward to collaborating with our talented team to drive innovation and achieve outstanding results that lead to more opportunities to assist communities in building resilience.»
