National Practice Lead – Mitigation

As the National Practice Lead for Mitigation, you will ensure the high-quality, timely, and profitable delivery of the US Mitigation project portfolio. This role involves influencing and implementing a market strategy by leveraging Tidal Basin’s national teams and capabilities. You’ll oversee a complex and financially significant portfolio of projects, while also focusing on growing the Mitigation planning, design, grants management, and consulting practice. Collaborating with Business Unit Leaders and Regional Vice Presidents is crucial to enhance resource sharing and capabilities, while fostering a culture of trust and leadership through strategic hiring and cross-training of staff.

Expanding relationships with existing clients and participating in innovation workstreams are key to differentiating Tidal Basin in the market. You’ll support the production of winning proposals and lead client presentations, refining delivery strategies to enhance predictability, quality, and efficiency. Managing client issues and building relationships with senior leaders across various governmental and commercial entities, in collaboration with Regional Vice Presidents and Business Unit PMs, is a vital aspect of the role.

Your focus will also be on attracting new mitigation clients and expanding the opportunity pipeline with RVPs and BULs. This position requires travel, estimated at 50% of the time, to support projects, clients, and team needs, with potential for extended deployments. Thought leadership is essential, both internally and externally, as you serve as a Mitigation Subject Matter Expert across the organization.

Site Safety and Health Officer (Federal Temp Power)

As a Site Safety and Health Officer, you will leverage your broad knowledge and experience in safety and occupational health principles to recognize hazardous or potentially hazardous conditions effectively, particularly within federal work settings. You will be adept at developing measures to eliminate or control these conditions and clearly communicating the appropriate solutions to ensure problem resolution.

Your role will frequently require practical knowledge of methods, techniques, and procedures used by industrial hygienists and environmental and fire prevention engineers. Familiarity with the EM385-1-1 methodology, as well as EPP and SPCC, is essential. As part of the ICS command staff, you will provide crucial guidance to the Incident Commander on health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and relevant agency regulations.

Additionally, proficiency with technology tools and the ability to work effectively in various environments are key components of this temporary position.
