About The National Hurricane Conference

The National Hurricane Conference is dedicated to enhancing hurricane preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation to save lives and protect property across the United States and the tropical islands of the Caribbean and Pacific. It serves as a national platform for federal, state, and local officials to exchange ideas and propose new policies to improve emergency management.

With an average attendance of 2,500 participants, the conference offers extensive education and professional training opportunities, including workshops, general sessions with top experts, and FEMA/EMI certification courses. It is a key event for professionals involved in hurricane and disaster preparedness.

  2. First Responders and Public Safety Personnel
Professionals like firefighters, police officers, and paramedics who are on the front lines during hurricanes and disasters.
  3. Disaster Recovery Specialists
