Jessica joined Tidal Basin last fall as a Technical Specialist supporting the Preparedness, Resiliency and Emergency Management (PREM) cadre group. She has since transitioned into her new role on the PREM team as a full-time Project Manager.
Jessica is an emergency preparedness specialist with more than 10 years of experience in emergency management, preparedness, and resiliency planning in both the public and private sectors. She has supported non-profit, local, state, and federal entities with project management, grant administration, and operational response. In her current position as Project Manager, she assists clients in developing and implementing project deliverables, playing a lead role in all aspects of project management and providing subject matter knowledge.
Prior to joining Tidal Basin, she served as an Advisor and Senior Crisis Management Coordinator at a major pharmacy corporation. She also worked with the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency for several years as both a State Hazard Mitigation Officer and a Floodplain Mapping Coordinator. She is a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) and holds a Master of Environmental Science and Management.
