With over 25 years of experience, Brad has had a profound impact on government and the private sector.

Brad has led significant multi-billion-dollar federally funded disaster recovery programs, including the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the COVID-19 Global Pandemic, and Hurricanes Katrina, Sandy, Ike, Harvey, Irma, Maria, Dorian, Ian, and Idalia. His track record speaks volumes about his commitment to disaster recovery and resilience. He has served in numerous senior leadership roles with leading emergency management consulting firms, NYU Langone Hospital, New York City’s Mayor’s Office, New York City Office of Emergency Management (OEM), and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

During his tenure in those leadership roles, he achieved the following key accomplishments:

  • Secured $1.4 billion in FEMA grants for Superstorm Sandy recovery initiatives, establishing a top-tier emergency management program for NYU Langone Medical system.
  • Led strategic planning for a $2 billion, 25,000-unit housing recovery program, developed the $650 million Rapid Repairs program for 20,000 NYC residential units within 90 days, secured over $1 billion in additional funding for NYC’s public infrastructure, implemented a $60 million emergency hotel shelter program, and secured over $35 million in philanthropic funding for repairs and assistance to immigrant families as the NYC Mayor’s Office Director of Housing Recovery Operations.
  • Acted as Special Advisor to the UAE’s National Crisis & Emergency Management Authority, contributing to the establishment of the agency and furthering his contributions to international markets.
  • Managed the Field Response Operations unit, rebuilt and supervised the city’s 24×7 emergency operations center, developed interagency training programs, implemented Notify NYC, the city’s emergency public warning system, implemented New York City’s Incident Management System as the Deputy Commissioner for the NYC Office of Emergency Management.
  • Led significant disaster recovery and resilience efforts, including the $21 billion federal recovery post-9/11 in NYC and initiatives after Hurricane Katrina as the Federal Coordinating Officer with FEMA.
