We are happy to announce that Jason Coccia has joined the Tidal Basin team as our new Director of Capture. Jason brings over 20 years of expertise in management consulting, strategic planning, and business development across the governmental and commercial sectors.
With a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions, he is poised to play a pivotal role in advancing Tidal Basin’s mission to support resilience-building and disaster management initiatives. Jason’s experience spans sustainability consulting, infrastructure planning, and asset management.
Before joining Tidal Basin, he served as the Director of Sustainability and Nature-Based Solutions at a leading global provider of consulting and engineering services, where he helped drive multi-million-dollar projects and initiatives, including construction management for the Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
His career highlights include driving financial strategies for offshore wind infrastructure technologies and implementing nature-based solutions with significant ROI and environmental impact.
A Certified Scrum Master and Scrum Product Owner, Jason’s leadership style emphasizes streamlined strategies, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering results-driven solutions. His accomplishments include leading large, complex capture initiatives and developing strategies aligned with client needs.
Jason holds an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University, and is a CPA certified in Colorado. He also contributes to his community as a board member of the Colorado 14ers Initiative, advocating for sustainability and environmental stewardship.
