We are excited to welcome Luke Strickland to the Tidal Basin team as our new Assistant Vice President, Florida State Director. With a background in governmental affairs and emergency management, Luke brings unparalleled experience and leadership to our team.

Luke’s career highlights include serving as Chief of Staff at the Florida Division of Emergency Management, where he oversaw preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation efforts across the state and coordinated with all governmental agencies. His proven track record in securing critical funding positions him as an invaluable asset to our mission.
Luke has extensive experience in campaign management, executing legislative initiatives and facilitating communication among key political figures. He effectively led teams of policy analysts and supported various committees, demonstrating strong leadership skills. Additionally, he has managed media relations and public communications on complex issues, showcasing his ability to influence public perception, execute legislative plans and ensure effective communication within political leadership.
Luke expressed, “I am excited to join Tidal Basin and contribute to a team dedicated to supporting communities through challenging times. I look forward to leveraging my experience to enhance our strategic initiatives and drive impactful solutions across Florida.”
Luke has a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Florida State University.
